Parallels For Mac Scrolling With Mouse

Mouse scroll wheel using Parallels and OSX 10.4 I am running AutoCAD 2007 on a macbook pro using parallels and windows xp. I have been having a lot of trouble getting my mouse to function the way I would like.

  • Use the mouse with seamless switching between macOS and Windows. Optimize mouse and keyboard for games. Use the smooth scrolling with Trackpad. Use the smooth zoom and rotate gestures with TrackPad. Use Trackpad with Force Touch and Pressure Sensitivity in Windows. Use drawing tablets in Windows with full pen support (pressure, tilt, twist, erase).
  • I have recently purchased Parallels Desktop 12, and I am using it with a Win XP Pro guest OS and MacOS Sierra host OS. All seems to work well, except for one problem with the mouse wheel scrolling.
  • The Parallels Mouse Scroll Fix Inside Windows, there's an option that helps smooth the scrolling. This will work for all mice I imagine. Start Control Panel Mouse (This path varies depending on your windows install) Click over to the Wheel tab and there is an option to select the number of lines to jump on each scroll interval.

Parallels For Mac Scrolling With Mouse Cursor

Question?
I installed parallels on my mac but when i tried to start up Windows... I couldn't get the mouse to move....... and the trackpad wouldn't work either. Has anyone encountered this sort of problem? I've tried all sorts of settings but to no avail...
Regardless........ I was getting annoyed as the website for parallels was no help so I uninstalled the software....... removed ALL files with a 'find' to remove any parallel files but now when I start up XP, I get a dos screen with two options and if I don't select the option real quickly, it'll try to start up from parallels and then I get......... missing hal.dll file, reinstall...... blah...... but if I quickly select the other option... I'm fine.... but then get a popup window about parallels not being able to access tools.
Is it possible that when I installed Parallels I wasn't selecting the write sort of thing? I had selected Bootcamp.....
Please help? I would like to use this program as I go back and forth constantly at work between both platforms and it's a nightmare to keep rebooting.
